How to Grow Quora Space

Social media is a great place for new ideas. Although the validation that we receive from likes and hearts feels good, it is not enough.

It is not a secret that in today’s internet age, discoverability can also mean opportunity, especially if you are a skilled worker. It is becoming more important to establish your online brand.

Many great guides can help you build your brand on Linkedin and Facebook. They are too familiar for me to mention again.

If you are looking for the best channel to communicate with your peers, Quora could be the right one.

• You provide consulting services and would like to create a personal brand.
• If you are a marketer or website owner and want to find a new source of traffic, this is the place for you.
• You are looking to create an active community and knowledge base on a topic.

When I joined Quora, I set out to achieve the first two goals. Quora is a great place to spend an hour a week. The results are very promising. These tips might be helpful if you are looking to grow your following and increase content views by thousands.

What is Quora?

Quora is simply a site that answers questions. Quora’s core is a community of people who are willing to help one another.

Quora guidelines are taken seriously by the original members. The loyal Quorans will punish you if you write a promotional answer, plagiarize content, or troll others.

Connect to Quora via your other social media channels

By connecting your social media channels to Quora, you can send notifications to your friends about Quora. You will only be followed by a few of your friends.

This is where content is the foundation. Social media sites that pay you also give you money. This is because the single most important thing which is “Human View” means the more content you post on Quora Space, the more people you will have. This is what I noticed when I began posting 2 to 3 posts per day on Quora Space. It is amazing to see our followers grow at a rate of 5,000 per week.

Write answers. Instead, tell your story

Quora was my first site. I used to answer questions about anything and everything. I wrote concise answers with the sole intention of helping people. These answers were written by me and I ended up with a few views with no upvotes.

This got me thinking. These questions could be found on Google. So why is Quora being used to ask them?

I quickly realized that they were looking for a story they could model. A story that has a personal touch.

For example, when someone asks you where the best places to hang out in Dubai are, don’t list every place that you know. Write about the places you’ve been to and those you are passionate about.

Do not try to create a personal story to answer questions. You can be brutal in the comments.

Be the First to Answer a Question

You can increase the chances that your answer will be viewed a lot more if you answer a question that has been asked recently.

Here are some ways to find frequently asked questions.

You can search for your primary keyword/question in the Quora search box. Next, you will need to go to the search results page. Then, use the filter menu to filter By Date. You can filter questions that were published in the last day or week by using the filter menu.

Learn about niche topics

As a beginner, I wrote about every topic under the sun (even those of which I had limited knowledge).

You will have a lot of upvotes if you post about everything. But you won’t have a loyal following. People get confused when you write about everything.

First, it would be extremely difficult to answer all the comments, even if your research is accurate.

It is best to only write about things that you are passionate about.

Keep in mind that Quora readers are reading Quora at work when they should be on the job. They don’t have the time or the attention to remember your name.

You can only build a following by engaging in a niche, even if you’re not a celebrity on Quora. You will be followed if the reader is interested. He will eventually remember your name. It’s not the other way around.

You can add more questions to your Quora space:

Your Quora Space can also be used to add questions. You can add questions to your Quora Space to get more answers from Quora writers. This will help you generate more views and content, which could help you rank higher in search engines. You can also increase the number of views on Quora Spaces by asking questions.

I know of Quora Space admins who use Upwork to hire people to add 10 questions to their Quora Spaces each day. This is because they believe adding questions can help Quora Space owners generate more answers, which in turn could lead to more views and more followers.

Ask a Question Anonymously and Answer…

You can ask anonymous questions and answer them yourself if there isn’t a question that relates to your topic.

Click the red Add question button on the Quora homepage.

Next, enter your question in the popup. Quora suggests that you start your question with “What”, “How”, “Why”, etc. You can also start questions with prepositions like “Is”, ‘Can”, or “Should”

Quora generates questions that are related to your question when you type a question. You can then follow these questions and answer them later.

Quora also offers the ability to add context at the bottom of the popup box.

It is not recommended to use that space to link to a source in your question. If I ask you, “Rumors say Apple will launch the iPhone 14 next year in March.” For more context, I’d like to provide a link to the article in which I read the rumor.

Next, click Add Anonymously before you click Add Question. After your question has been published, you can go ahead and answer it.

Quality or quantity?

When we discuss content creation, one topic that is often brought up is Quality vs. Quantity.

These are my 5 answers, which have received over 4000 individual upvotes. They account for half of all views. They account for 50% of the total 1.3,000,000 views.

You might believe that only a handful of quality answers are necessary, based on the numbers. I disagree.

You might think I wrote only five quality answers to reach 3000 followers or 1 million views. The reality is quite different.

I made the same effort in writing these 5 answers as I did with the 200+ answers that went wrong.

You won’t know the truth until you see the content and make your decision. Even the best filmmakers fail.

To eventually reach quality, you will need to begin with quantity.

Cross-post your answers to other social media

I don’t often cross-post Quora answers to other social media channels, such as Facebook, Twitter, or Linkedin. It has worked for me, however.

If you can share your answer immediately or if it is trending, this can be very useful. Because Quora’s algorithm works this way, I recommend it. Quora will show your answer to many people if you receive a lot more views and upvotes within the first 30 minutes.

It is important to answer questions at the right time. Quora is very active in the late evenings, which I have observed.

Engage in discussions

This is something I’m not very good at. I’m more of a passive observer. Although I enjoy having conversations in real life I don’t feel the need to do so on social media.

But conversations work. After you have shared my post, make sure to check back a few times per day to answer any questions or respond to comments.

It’s a great way to get to know people and to respond to their comments. There are a few comments that have received over 100 upvotes. I also have great relationships with some of the people who have provided great feedback and value to me.

Add Internal linking

Although it is not easy to find and add links to your published answers on Quora Space, this could have a greater impact on Quora Space’s growth. Converting one read to several will increase engagement on Quora Space.
